If you like your afternoon tea with a dash of history, then Parisian salon Mariage Frères is your go-to. The Mariage family first got involved in tea in around 1660, when Nicolas Mariage was despatched to Persia and the East Indies with the French East India Company by King Louis XIV. The trade has been passed down the generations ever since, and here we are, in the 21st century, with more than 500 varieties of tea on offer and some of the world’s most beautiful teapots to drink it out of. These glass versions would look lovely filled with a flower bud infusion.

These teapots are just incredible! I need to find someone to bring me one from the UK so that I can make mint tea from our garden in Marrakech.
Now we’re all really jealous! Sounds wonderful.
Simply too precious to use. They are one way of making one feel a million dollars. Have to get one.
