Who’d have thought it was 10 years since Jamie Oliver took a bunch of troubled youngsters and trained them to become professional chefs for his landmark Fifteen restaurant. To mark the anniversary, Jamie Oliver’s charity The Better Food Foundation has launched the Big Chair Project. The fantastic Fritz Hansen has very kindly donated 20 new ‘Ant’ chairs (the iconic chair featured in the original restaurant) and asked  various artists to customise them with a food-related design. Artists involved  include Tracey Emin, Paul Smith, and Alexander McQueen’s designer Sarah Burton. Some of our faves are above.

Each of the chairs will be auctioned off to help raise money for the Better Food Foundation. Fritz Hansen have also donated an ‘Egg’ chair and footstool, which will be customised by Jamie Oliver himself, which will also be auctioned online. For more info go to thebigchairproject.org
