    Style 360: Orange

    by  • April 1, 2014 • 0 Comments

    360 orange

A complete contrast to the Romanticism of the British Spring pastels, the likes of Prabal Gurung and Altuzarra turned up the heat over the pond on the SS14 runways at New York fashion week with bright orange.

Clockwise from the top we saw DKNY lead their SS14 collection with an neon orange clad Karlie Kloss, inspirations including urban gang culture and street art. To perfect a pumpkin pout this summer, head to Mac cosmetics for a juicy helping of shades such as ‘Loudmouth’ and ‘Frosted bright’  (from £15) and if that’s not hot enough for you, add some roar to your fire with these fabulous Kenzo Brenda tiger slippers in orange (£295) at Selfridges. If you’re looking to brighten up from the inside out, why not invest in Timorous Beasties’ Cerebral marble wallpaper (£200 per roll) for that plaid looking wall, or simply switch to a punchy accessory such as the Alu Wall Clock in neon orange (£65 at the Conran shop) for a more flexible feature.
